The 211 Warmline is the District of Columbia’s centralized hub for social service resources and referrals.
By dialing “211”, individuals and families can access timely information and referrals for services that address mental health, housing, employment, education, and more.

The 211 Warmline is not for emergencies. Dial 911 if you have an emergency. Dial 988 if you are in mental health distress or are considering self-harm.

If you are a District of Columbia resident, you can contact the 211 Warmline by dialing “211.” If you are currently travelling out of state, you can reach the 211 Warmline at the direct number: (202) 463-6211.

Monday through Friday, from 9 AM – 5 PM
